Good Afternoon Sisters!
Goodness it has been a LONG time since I have put up a blog post. Here are some reminders and announcements.
1. This Sunday is Mother's Day, HURRAY! As a wonderful service and treat, all sisters in our ward will meet together for Relief Society. The brethren have taken the liberty of heading up primary and the young men and women will be combined. So everyone please meet in the chapel at 9:00a.m. Sister Elizabeth Roberts will be teaching our lesson out of the Teachings of the Prophet George Albert Smith Manuel and it's chapter 8: temple blessings for ourselves and our ancestors.
2. Wednesday, May 16th will be our craft and chat quarterly meeting at Amy Lehto's home at 7p.m. We are making quilts for youth conference for the youth to tie and then donate to a shelter/ refuge home in Alabama. We are requesting for any fabric scraps that you may have. The quilts will be the size of a twin sheet and if you do decide to buy and twin sheet to donate please make sure it is at least 300 thread count as these quilts will be used and washed a lot. Bring all fabric scraps to church on Sunday or with you for the meeting.
3. This Saturday, May 12th is the Primary Family History Activity from 10a.m.-noon.
4. Book Club meeting Thursday, May 18th at 8p.m.
5. Don't forget to continue to do those things that can get you a tick mark to help fill up our temple. It will be awesome to see it all filled in by August 7th which is our next ward temple trip!
