Visiting Teaching

Updated Visiting Teaching Routes were handed out on Sunday, January 5th. Please check with a member of the Relief Society Presidency if you did not get your route, or need to check if it changed. You can also check with your VT Supervisory later this week, as they will have the lists as well. The RS Pres will be at the church this Tuesday evening, so please look for us if you need your route!

Please remember to REPORT your visiting teaching to your supervisor by the end of the month. It is easiest to do right after you've met with your sisters! However, please remember that even if you were not able to contact them we still need you to report that to your Supervisor. Your VT Supervisor's name and phone number are listed on the top of your VT route that was handed out. If you aren't sure who you should report to, please check with either Kay Lippen (VT Coordinator) or one of the Relief Society Presidency members. We are happy to look that up for you!

First Sunday Lesson –
“Rise to Your Call”
The first Sunday lessons are taught by a member of our
Relief Society Presidency. This week’s lesson was taken from a talk entitled Rise
to Your Call by President Henry B. Eyring (2002 October General Conference). This is a wonderful talk that is a must read
(as they all are). We learned that we are called of God, called to represent
our Savior. The Lord will guide us by
revelation in our callings. Just as he has called us and will guide us, he will
also magnify us.
It is so reassuring to know that the callings we have been
given are where they Lord wants us to be. He wants us to rely upon His help and
guidance so that we may be and do all that we can. Obedience puts us on that
path and opens the floodgates of blessings.

Why Give Blood?
There is no substitute for human blood.
